Reverend Laura Weant
Rev. Laura Weant began serving as Pastor at Jay United Methodist Church in July 2011.
Before coming to Jay, Laura served as Associate Pastor at Myrtle Grove UMC in Pensacola for the last four years. In May 2007, she completed her Master of Divinity degree at Saint Paul School of Theology, a United Methodist seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. She has worked in the fields of architecture and architectural history previously, thus proving that God calls all types into ministry! Laura has a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a M.A. in Architecture from the University of Florida. She was ordained as a Full Elder in June 2011.
